<drs:discussion>The survey area for F00872 is centered primarily within the charted USACE Federal Channel to Tampa Bay.

A comparison of the surveyed depths to the depth range value 1 attribute listed in the ENCs and the controlling channel depth was conducted. Daily XYZ bathymetric data from the survey was provided to the USACE to assist with assessing the overall condition of the channel as part of a daily required deliverable. Excessive shoaling/DTONs were identified and reported in the field in accordance with the PI. One uncharted obstruction was identified within the channel and was reported in accordance with the PI and included in the Final Feature File (FFF). It should be noted that the least depth and position for this obstruction may have changed slightly after the data were further post-processed. Please reference the DR Appendix II Supplemental Records for the specific correspondence regarding the obstruction.</drs:discussion>

<drs:discussion>This ERS survey was transformed to the vertical datum for this project of Mean Lower Low Water, through the Ellipsoid to Chart Datum Separation File: "Tampa Bay Response VDatum_100m_NAD83-MLLW_geoid12b.csar". Real-time positional data were corrected with G2+ Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) satellite corrections provided by the Fugro Marinestar Satellite-Based Augmentation System (SBAS). To improve the accuracy of the real-time data, real-time position and attitude data were post-processed using Applanix POSPac Mobile Mapping Solution (MMS) software. Trimble CenterPoint RTX correction methods were used to create Smoothed Best Estimate of Trajectory (SBET) files, which were applied to the survey data in CARIS HIPS. The provided separation model was then utilized to bring the data from ellipsoid heights to chart MLLW datum.</drs:discussion>
